The first few weeks after having a baby can be a whirl of emotions, but it's also an incredibly special time that you'll want to remember forever. That's where Bumble Photography comes in - I'm passionate about creating stunning, timeless imagery that you can cherish for years to come! I understand that safety is a top priority for new moms which is why I've undergone extensive newborn safety training, hold a basic DBS check from the government, and am fully insured to work with newborns. With 20 years of experience in photography and over 10 years in newborn photography specifically, I've also completed multiple training courses in wrapping and baby safety both in person and online. I'm excited to capture these precious moments for you and hope that my expertise and attention to safety will give you peace of mind.

How it Works
The best time to book in your newborn session is anywhere from your 12 weeks dating scan all the way up to baby arriving. The earlier you book the better as I can guarantee you a spot. I book up very quickly.
Booking from your 12 week scan I create a floating appointment for you. We book for your due date as a preliminary booking then once baby actually arrives we get the final date set.
The best time to capture your newborn photos is between 10 and 21 days old for those lovely sleepy photos.
Your Session
Your Newborn session is designed to make the best of the time you have with your new baby. All sessions are Baby led and are completely relaxed. When you arrive you will be offered refreshments and a chat about your likes and dislikes, the colours and props you would like to use. I then create a magical set list for you whilst you watch, you can of course let me know of any changes you would like. I then work around baby and their cues, if baby is in need of changing or feeding we prioritise that over anything. Your babies safety is paramount which is why I have undertaken extensive newborn safety courses and posing safety classes.
Investment
At Bumblebugs Photography you pay a session fee at booking, which covers the actual photoshoot, outfits, time and editing. After your session you then choose your package. I have packages to suit most budgets starting from £195.
